Widgeting privacy policy

Widgeting is made by Lawton, llc. This policy explains what the app does with information on your iPhone.

We collect nothing. Widgeting has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking. It contains no third-party code.

Calendar and reminders.

If you allow access, Widgeting reads your events and reminders to show them in your widgets. Copies are kept in the app’s private storage on your iPhone, and are deleted if you turn access off. Nothing is sent to us.

Location.

If you allow it, Widgeting uses your location to get the weather where you are. Your location is sent to Apple’s WeatherKit and MapKit services to get the forecast and the place name. Apple’s privacy policy covers those services. We never receive it.

Health.

If you allow it, Widgeting reads your steps, distance, flights climbed, active energy, exercise and stand time, activity rings, resting heart rate, sleep and workouts to show them in your widgets. A copy is kept in the app’s private storage on your iPhone so the widgets can draw it. It never leaves your iPhone and is never used for advertising. Widgeting never writes to Health.

Apple Music.

If you allow it, Widgeting reads what you played recently to show it in your widgets, through Apple’s MusicKit. Apple’s privacy policy covers that service. We never receive it.

Apple Intelligence.

The daily summary is written by the on-device model from your own calendar, weather, birthdays and Health data. It runs only on your iPhone; nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Travel time.

To estimate travel time, the location of your next event and your location are sent to Apple’s MapKit service. We never receive them.

Photos.

Photos you add to a design are copied into the app’s private storage, reduced in size. They leave your iPhone only if you share a design.

Purchases.

Apple processes all purchases. We receive no payment details.

widgeting.app sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.
